2016 PYB Hall of Fame Yearbook Contest Winners Announced

Picaboo Yearbooks, the market leader in School First yearbook publishing, has named 34 schools across North America to their inaugural class of PYB Hall of Fame yearbook contest winners.

The PYB Hall of Fame recognizes the top 1% of yearbooks printed by the company. A panel of judges selected yearbooks that are well designed, feature outstanding photography and reflect a broad representation of each school’s student body.

Picaboo Yearbooks established the PYB Hall of Fame in 2016 to encourage the development of 21st-century skills that working in a yearbook staff can instill, such as creative thinking, communication, collaboration and technology literacy.

“While yearbooks are obviously the best, most long-lasting way to preserve memories, the actual creation of the yearbook helps students master project based learning skills,” said Bill Miles, Chief Executive Officer of Picaboo Yearbooks. “We are excited to reward the hard work of students and volunteers.”

Design ideas from winning yearbooks are featured in Picaboo Yearbook’s Yearbook Guidebook, a printed resource used in classrooms across North America.
